Ok so here this is, you're lookin to jtag your 360 if your viewing this right? or maybe your just curious. Well I'm here to help with that
Some things you need to know:
Is it jtagable (most important)-
If the console has the dash kernel of 7371 or lower, yes it is (this can be found in the system settings)
What motherboard is it?
There are 5 options:
-Xenon (most common)
-Zephyr (HDMI)
-Falcon
-Opus
-Jasper (HDMI)
If you simply google search "How to tell what motherboard" it should come up in the suggestions, and then go to images and there is a few really good pics that tell you how to.
K well here is a video TuT, these are not my videos, i just found them very useful.
